Birthday/ Christmas thoughts....

So I think everyone's asked me what they should get Addy for her birthday and Christmas (which are both sneaking up on us too quickly) so I want to put a list out there for you all to begin considering.

Here are some of her recent requests (along with some things we know she would very much enjoy), in no particular order: 

* TRICYCLE:  just a plain old tricycle will do... she's not picky & it's going to get LOTS of use once we move but here's a picture of one she's "tried out" at Wal-Mart

* GAMES: She's not quite into board games yet but here are a few I've found that I think we'll start working towards over the next year (good investments) :)

Leap Frog - we've not had much interaction with leapfrog in our past 2 years but I know it's a great educational tool....

Wall-E - Addy LOVES this movie...it's pretty cute but for the lack of songs & interaction we were pleasantly surprised with her thoughts on it :)

We're also praying about when's the right time to buy a play set for the backyard so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Addyson's booboo

So Addy fell while jumping and flipping around her chair last night. 

We try to let her be as "wild" as she can without making tons of noise for the neighbors below...well despite our warnings she landed on the corner of the fireplace.

This is after we got the bleeding stopped she was fine. It wasn't deep enough for a hospital visit so mom & dad became docs :)

Indoor Play day...

So with Lubbock summer I've tried to find interesting ways to have fun play times for Addy. The mall's been great!!! She has a blast and it's almost free ;) 

Staycation

With our very hectic schedules and very limited budgets Justin and I decided to take some time off from work but to stay around Lubbock and REST!

We did some fun stuff with Addyson while also getting some date night time out too!

Here are some pics from our adventures with Addyson.

First, we took her to the park one full morning (well for a few hours anyway - even early in the day it was too hot for the almost 7 month preggo momma :) ).

Saturday we took advantage of our day off by trying something new and we took her bowling. She had a blast! In fact with the bumpers & the ball guider she beat me!! We also played some video games which only held her attention for a bit. She's asked to go bowling now everyday since, I think she's hooked!
